History of freedance
Freedance arose during the 20th century and was strongly inspired by modernism and expressionism art and became a protest against the artistic stagnation and the old society (ballet). Women were in the spotlight. An important pioneer was Loie Fuller and she became the greatest source of inspiration for my work. She invented the "serpentine dance", a dance where you wear silk costumes that are reflected on the fabric with the help of multicolored lighting.
